Read what the board already shows.

Six lessons. Find the scene, both sides, the role you care about, and the change already moving through it.

Lesson 03 · Essentials

Find the Role

Every line represents someone or something. Your question tells you which role becomes the Focus.

Master Road · ~6 min

You can now see how the lines affect one another. The next step is to know what each line stands for in real life: money, work, people, rules, or results. This lesson helps you find the one line that answers your question—the Focus.

The Guanxiang character uses a magnifying glass to select one role from five stations.
Your question decides what becomes the Focus.

Each line also represents part of the scene.

Its role tells you whether it stands for a person, resource, rule, pressure, or result.

A line has an element, but it also represents someone or something in the scene. Bring one clear question to the board, find the role that matches what you care about, and make that line your Focus. The reading will show what supports it, controls it, drains it, or changes it.

Parents

What supports, protects, teaches, or authorises you.

Parents, elders, leaders, teachers, shelter, information, documents, contracts and certificates.
Brothers

Those who stand on your level—helping, sharing, or competing.

Siblings, friends, colleagues, partners, rivals, shared resources, division and competition.
Offspring

What you produce, express, solve, or use to release pressure.

Children, ideas, work output, solutions, creativity, pleasure, recovery and relief.
Wealth

Resources and goals you can pursue, manage, spend, or possess.

Money, budgets, assets, revenue, property, returns, supplies and material support.
Officer

What sets rules, gives responsibility, or places pressure on you.

Jobs, positions, authority, deadlines, duties, institutions, risk, scrutiny and constraints.

What you ask decides where you start.

Choose one Focus. Do not read all six rows equally.
