AI Use Statement

1. Where AI is used

AI is used only for these outputs:

• the AI reading of a cast you have made;
• an Echo AI reading; and
• a follow-up you send about a Cast AI reading.

AI is not used to write these, and they are not labeled as AI:

• a written report bought from the shop, including a hot topic, a seasonal or monthly pack, and a question pack;
• a Live text session with an advisor;
• Master Road lessons; and
• the hexagram library.

The page where you open the reading says whether you are reading it yourself, reading with AI, or opening the hex board. A shop product that is written by a person says so on the product page.

2. What is sent

To produce an AI reading or a follow-up, we send the model the cast, the question if you wrote one, and the follow-up text. We do not send your card number. We do not sell that text. The provider that generates the answer, and how long related records are kept, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

A person does not review each AI answer before you see it. If you want a person to write the reading, book a written report or a Live session.

3. How the model is instructed

The model is instructed to:

• read the cast as a whole, infer the question, and answer it in ordinary language;
• not write “I think”, “I guess”, “I don’t know”, “I’m not sure”, “I cannot tell”, or “still works”;
• not refuse a point by saying there is not enough evidence;
• not claim that an outcome is certain; and
• stay inside pattern reading for cultural study, and not fortune-telling or a prediction that an event must happen.

Those instructions do not make the answer a fact, a prediction, or professional advice. The model can still be wrong, incomplete, or poorly fitted to your situation.

4. What an AI reading is not

An AI reading is pattern reading for cultural study. Guanxiang also designs collectible objects. The reading is not fortune-telling, not a service for changing luck, and not a statement that an event will happen. It is not financial, medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a basis for action. You remain responsible for your own decisions. Do not use it to decide a medical, legal, or financial matter, and do not use it to seek harm to yourself or anyone else.

5. Allowances and credits

Cast itself is unlimited. A Cast AI reading and an Echo AI reading each have a daily allowance, per account, per local day: Scholar 1, Adept 3, Master 5. A guest has none. The allowance is not carried to the next day. A reading inside the allowance does not spend credits.

After that day’s allowance is used, another Cast or Echo AI reading is 30 credits. A delivered extra reading is not refunded.

A follow-up allowance is counted on that Cast AI reading, not on the day: Scholar 1, Adept 3, Master 5. A guest has none. A follow-up inside the allowance does not spend credits.

After that reading’s allowance is used, another follow-up is 10 credits. The price is shown before you send it. Nothing is spent, and the question is not sent, unless you confirm. If the answer is not generated, the 10 credits are not taken. Once the answer has been delivered, those 10 credits are not refunded.

6. Your choices

• You can read a cast yourself, or on the hex board, and never open the AI reading.
• You can leave a follow-up unsent.
• You can ask us to delete a saved reading, as described in the Privacy Policy.
