1. Who these Terms cover

By creating an account, buying anything, or using the site, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Payments and Credits policy, and the AI Use Statement. Purchases of written reports, question packs, and Live time packs also follow the Shop Purchase Terms. If those documents conflict on a credit-priced report, pack, or Live time pack, the Shop Purchase Terms control that purchase. These Terms control the rest.

You must be at least 18 years old. Guanxiang is not directed at children.

2. What Guanxiang is

Guanxiang is a studio for new culture. We publish traditional culture as pattern reading, and we design and sell collectible objects. Cast, Echo, AI readings, written reports, and Live sessions describe a pattern in a situation. They are not fortune-telling, not a prediction that an event must happen, and not a service for changing luck.

They are also not financial, medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and they are not a basis for action. Outcomes are not guaranteed. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

An AI reading is generated from the cast you made. A written report or a Live session is prepared by an advisor. We say which is which on the page where you buy or open it. How the model is used, and what it will not claim, is in the AI Use Statement.

3. Accounts and membership

You can register with an email and password, or with Google. A Google sign-in uses the email address Google confirms. We do not receive the Google password. A Scholar account is the free registered account. Adept is the monthly membership. Master is the yearly membership and the highest tier. Welcome credits are tier totals, granted once per type: Scholar 50 ✦, Adept 100 ✦, Master 300 ✦. An upgrade grants only the gap, and only if that type has not been granted before.

An email-and-password account stays limited until that email is verified. Scholar welcome credits are added when the address is verified. Until then, a birthday hexagram, an Echo reading, and a Cast AI reading stay closed. A Google sign-in uses an email Google has already confirmed, so those open with the account. Casting the lines, browsing, and signing in stay available before verification. Verifying the email confirms the address. Agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy happens when the account is created.

Adept renews each month. Master renews each year. A term ends at 24:00 on its expiry date in your account timezone, and only the current term is in force. A Master year starts the day you pay and ends one year later at 24:00. Unused days of the current Adept month are not added onto that year. The yearly price is reduced only by the unused share of the monthly fee: time left in the paid month, divided by the length of that month, times the current Adept price, rounded to the nearest cent. Days already used are not refunded. The next renewal charges the full yearly price.

You can cancel the next renewal from the account. Access continues until the paid month or year ends. The unused part of the current term is not refunded, except where a mandatory law says otherwise.

Each paid month while Adept or Master is in force adds gift credits: Adept 80 ✦, Master 100 ✦. Master is billed once a year. The gift is still 100 ✦ for each month of that paid year, not one lump for the year. Unused gift credits end with the term that granted them. They are not cashed out.

Cast itself is unlimited. Cast AI readings and Echo readings are separate daily allowances: Scholar 1, Adept 3, Master 5. A guest has none. Those allowances reset on your local day and are not carried over. Another Cast or Echo AI reading on the same local day is 30 credits.

Follow-ups included with a plan are counted on that reading: Scholar 1, Adept 3, Master 5. A guest has none. After that reading’s allowance is used, another Cast AI follow-up is 10 credits, and only after you confirm the spend.

4. Credits

Credits (✦) are a closed-loop balance on Guanxiang. They are not cash, not a stored-value card, not a deposit account, and not redeemable for money except where a written policy says a refund returns credits. One credit is not a promise of a fixed dollar value at spend time. Prices in credits are shown before you confirm.

Available credits are your balance minus any amount held for an open order. A hold is not a spend. A spend, a confirmed follow-up, or a confirmed course unlock reduces the balance and is written to the credit ledger. We do not take credits for a follow-up until you confirm that spend.

5. Payments

Card payments for credit packs, memberships, and physical goods are charged in US dollars through Stripe Checkout. Guanxiang does not store your full card number, expiry, or security code. The price, the billing interval for a membership, and the way to cancel are shown before you pay. Details, renewals, refunds, and failed payments are in Payments and Credits.

6. Cast, Echo, reports, Live, and courses

Cast is a reading you make on the site. Echo is the inborn and related reading on your account. A written report is a human-written reading you book from a credit purchase. Live is a timed text session with an advisor. Master Road is the course path in Academy.

Reports, question packs, and Live time packs are paid in credits. Credit packs and memberships are paid by card. A course stage that is not already included in your plan can be unlocked with credits. Delivery, booking, cancellation, and the 20-minute Live minimum are set out in the Shop Purchase Terms.

A Question Pack unit and a Live Session Pack sitting may each name any available advisor. The question or the sitting may be about any person you name. The pack price does not change with that choice.

Scholar keeps Cast and Echo results from the last month. Adept and Master keep them without a time limit. Foundations and Beginning are included for every account. Intermediate is 100 credits for Scholar and included for Adept and Master. Advanced is 400 credits for Scholar, half price for Adept, and included for Master. The Master course is 600 credits for Scholar, half price for Adept, and included for Master. Later courses are full price for Scholar, half price for Adept, and included for Master. A weekly hot lecture is not a standing product. When Guanxiang publishes a series, each lecture is 100 credits for Scholar and included for Adept and Master. A lecture is not promised every week. There are at least 3 in a month while that series is running.

7. Refunds, returns, and cancellations

This section lists every refund path. Card money goes back to the original card through Stripe. A shop refund of a credit-priced product goes back as credits on the same account, not as cash. Ask for a refund at [email protected] and include the order.

Membership

• Adept renews monthly. Master renews yearly. Cancel stops the next renewal only.
• Access continues until 24:00 on the expiry date of the term you already paid.
• The unused part of the current month or year is not refunded, except where a mandatory law requires it.
• Days already used on Adept are not refunded when you move to Master. Only the unused share of that month’s fee is taken off the yearly price, as section 3 describes. The next yearly renewal is the full yearly price.
• Welcome credits that came with a tier are not cashed out. If a mandatory refund of that membership is made, unused welcome credits from that grant are removed.
• Monthly gift credits are not cashed out. If a mandatory refund of that membership is made, unused gift credits from that term are removed.
• If a renewal charge fails and stays failed, the membership ends with the paid term and the account returns to Scholar.

Credit packs

• Credits are not a cash balance. You cannot withdraw them on request.
• A credit pack that has not been spent at all may be refunded to the original card if you ask within 14 days of the charge, and you did not agree at checkout that the credits would be added immediately.
• Checkout for a credit pack asks you to agree that the credits are added when the payment clears. Where the law allows, that agreement ends the right to withdraw from that digital supply.
• Once any credit from that pack has been spent, the pack is not refunded in cash, except where a mandatory law requires it.
• Purchased credits do not expire. Welcome credits and other gift credits end with the membership term that granted them, if they are still unused.
• A failed or abandoned card checkout does not add credits. A successful chargeback removes the credits from that charge. If they were already spent, we may suspend the related access while the dispute is open.

Credit-priced shop products

Written reports, question packs, seasonal and monthly packs, and Live time packs are paid in credits. A refund of those products follows the Shop Purchase Terms and returns credits only. The schedules are:

• Hot topic, including Year in Motion and This Month. Use period: 1 month from purchase. Unused: full credit refund during that month. After that month, if you have neither booked nor asked for a refund, nothing is returned.
• Four Seasons Compass and Monthly Rhythm. Use period: 1.5 years. Book a unit within 7 days after the relevant solar-term turn. Miss that window and no unit is deducted. Unused pack: full credit refund during the use period. A partly used pack is broken up at the single-report list price.
• Question Pack. Use period: 6 months for 3 units, 12 months for 5 units, 18 months for 10 units. Each unit may name any available advisor, and the question may be about any person you name. The pack price does not change. Unused: full credit refund during the use period. A used unit is settled at that advisor’s Scholar written-report list price. If no advisor is recorded, the lowest Scholar written-report list price is used. A unit already in writing is settled at half that price.
• Live Session Pack. Use period: 6 months for 60 minutes, 12 months for 120 minutes, 18 months for 180 minutes. Each sitting may name any available advisor, and may be about any person you name. The pack price does not change. No sitting booked: full credit refund during the use period. Cancel before the advisor confirms, or at least 2 hours before the start, and the minutes return to the pack. Cancel less than 2 hours before the start, or miss the sitting, and 20 minutes are taken as a deposit. A partly used pack is settled as used minutes plus deposit minutes, each at that advisor’s Scholar per-minute list price.
• A discounted pack or a discounted product refunds the unused portion as credits paid minus the used portion at the original list price. The discount is not kept on the used part. If that list-price charge reaches what you paid, the refund is zero.
• After writing has started and before the file is in My reports: that unit is settled at 50% of its original list price, unless delivery of that unit is late.
• Once a file is in My reports, it cannot be returned.
• If a written unit is late, that unit is closed and the credits for it are returned in full. A single report, including a discounted one, returns every credit paid for that order. One unit inside a pack returns the full original list price of that unit. This is not a 30% compensation. Other units in the pack are not refunded by that late delivery.
• When the use period ends, unused balance is forfeited unless a refund was requested before it ended.
• Two consecutive full refunds of unused orders of the same product class put the third request on manual review.

Other digital supplies

• A Cast or Echo AI reading inside the daily allowance spends nothing. Another reading the same day is 30 credits. A delivered extra reading is not refunded. A Cast AI follow-up inside that reading’s allowance spends nothing. A follow-up bought for 10 credits is not refunded once the answer has been delivered. If the answer is not generated, the credits are not taken.
• A Master Road stage unlocked with credits is supplied when it unlocks on the account. It is not refunded after that, except where a mandatory law requires it. If the unlock fails, the credits are returned.
• A digital download, deck, or PDF that has been placed in your library is supplied. It is not returned. If the file is defective or missing, we replace it.

Physical goods

• Physical goods ship to the address collected at checkout, after the payment clears. Delivery time depends on the destination and the carrier. Any postage is shown before you pay.
• Shipped goods, including a deck, a yarrow kit, or a cast kit, may be returned if they are unused, in the original packing, and you write to us within 30 days of delivery.
• You pay the return postage unless the goods are defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered. In those cases write within 14 days of delivery, with photographs, and we refund the item price and reasonable return postage, or we replace the goods.
• Postage you paid is refunded only when the return is for a defect, damage, or a wrong item.
• Opened or used goods are not refunded for a change of mind.
• If the order included membership time or credits, and those benefits are already on the account when you return the goods, they are charged at the standard price or taken out of the refund.

Spain, the EEA, and other places with a mandatory withdrawal right are covered in section 11. That right controls where these Terms cannot waive it.

8. AI readings

Cast can show an AI reading and later follow-ups. The AI Use Statement is part of these Terms. An AI reading is not an advisor’s written report and not a Live session. It is not professional advice, and it is not a promise that an event will happen.

9. Acceptable use

You will not:

• use Guanxiang to decide a medical, legal, or financial matter;
• seek harm to yourself or anyone else, or ask us to do so;
• break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, or scrape or resell the service;
• copy, mirror, or republish our images, text, layouts, or product designs, or use them to train a model;
• describe Guanxiang as fortune-telling, luck-changing, or a service that predicts a fixed outcome;
• attempt to bypass payment, credits, or membership limits;
• misrepresent your age, identity, or authority to use a payment method.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that breaks these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Guanxiang name, the character, the site, and the product designs are owned by Nanyu Digital Creative Limited or used under license. That includes the text, the illustrations, the photographs, the hexagram art, the course pages, the layouts, and the collectible objects. Buying an object or a reading does not transfer that copyright or trademark.

You may view the site and keep a reading for your own private use. You may not copy, download in bulk, screenshot for republication, crop out a mark, mirror a page, or train a model on our images or text, except where a mandatory law allows a specific use such as quotation for criticism. A reading we generate or an advisor writes is licensed to you for that private use. You may not republish it as your own work or as a competing product.

You keep what you write in a question, a note, or an Echo. You give us a license to host it, show it to an advisor when the order needs that, and, if you choose Publish, show the public card described in the Privacy Policy.

If you believe material on the site uses your work without permission, write to [email protected] with the page address, what you own, and how to reach you. We will review the notice and remove or refuse the material where the claim is sound.

11. Regions, including the United States, Japan, and Spain

Guanxiang is offered from Hong Kong to people in other places. If a mandatory law in your place of residence gives you a right these Terms cannot waive, that law controls for that right. The rest of these Terms still apply.

United States. The limits in section 2 apply. Membership renews until you cancel, at the price and interval shown before you pay. We will send the renewal terms required by applicable automatic-renewal law, including a clear description of the charge, the length of the term, and how to cancel. California and other state automatic-renewal rules apply to residents of those states where they cannot be waived.

Japan. Guanxiang is pattern reading for traditional culture study, and the shop sells collectible objects. It is not fortune-telling, not a service for changing luck, and not a prediction that an event will happen. If a payment cannot be completed under the rules that apply to the charge, the purchase does not complete and you are not billed. Mandatory Japanese consumer rules control where they apply.

Spain and the EEA. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content and digital services that start immediately, that right is lost only if you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right once performance begins. The checkout states that consent. Where the right is not lost, you may withdraw by writing to [email protected]. Mandatory law of your country of residence controls.

12. Liability

The service is provided as available. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or a particular outcome from a reading. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make from a reading. Our total liability arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase in the three months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law forbids it, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, except where a mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies instead. Courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction, without taking away a right you have to bring a claim in your home courts where the law requires that.
